In the kitchen: Easy Peasy Rice Pudding

It doesn't get much easier than this!
Easiest Rice Pudding EVER
5 cups milk
1/2 cup white rice
Put in heavy pot on medium-low (just to come to an easy boil).
After 30 - 40 minutes add in
some raisins
1/8 tsp cardamon
1/8 tsp of cinnamon
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
Cook just until it all mixes in.
It will be really runny when you pull it off but as it cools it will thicken up.
Suuuuuuper easy and so tasty!

Rice pudding is my kryptonite. I have given it up because of the sugar thing but.... I do believe it will try it with Stevia and/or Splenda in the hopes that it may be edible enough to pacify my undying need for the pudding.

I havr tried many times to like rice pudding- I can't get past the rice. But maybe I'll try again with half your recipe cause it does look good and easy. Would you happen t have the recipe for the tapioca (or little pasta stuff) that your Mom made for Brad and Whit's wedding- I LOVE that stuff!!!

I have some leftover plain rice in the fridge right now. It sounds so good too. I'm going to make some! Thanks

I love this stuff. I got a new recipe for the microwave that makes it in 15 minutes using arborio rice. Yum.

My mom loves rice pudding. I can't do it. Something with the texture just does me in.

Thanks for the recipe, I tried to make rice pudding last week and it was a bit of a disaster.
