Listography: List 64
List 64: Quotes I love.
I have LOTS of quotes i love. Some posters I've made of some favorites: (you could download any of the ones I've made - they are 8x10 pictures.)
Some others not on posters:
"Mothers who know do less. They permit less of what will not bear good fruit eternally. They allow less media in their homes, less distraction, less activity that draws their children away from their home. Mothers who know are willing to live on less and consume less of the world’s goods in order to spend more time with their children—more time eating together, more time working together, more time reading together, more time talking, laughing, singing, and exemplifying. These mothers choose carefully and do not try to choose it all. Their goal is to prepare a rising generation of children who will take the gospel of Jesus Christ into the entire world" - Julie B Beck
“Generally speaking, the most miserable people I know are those who are obsessed with themselves; the happiest people I know are those who lose themselves in the service of others...By and large, I have come to see that if we complain about life, it is because we are thinking only of ourselves.” President Gordon B. Hinckley
"I'm not ashamed to say that... I want to be good. And I've found in my life that it has been critically important to establish this intention between me and the Lord so that i knew that HE knew which way I committed my agency. I went before him and said: "I'm not neutral, and you can do with me what you want. If you need my vote, it's there. I don't care what you do with me, and you don't have to take anything from me because I give it to you - everything i own, all that I am.." and that makes the difference." - Boyd K Packer
And some posters I've found elsewhere on the net with quotes I LOVE:
oh man I could keep going.... but I'll stop here! :)

In the Craft Room: National Scrapbooking Day
is coming up (it's on the 7th of May). And today if you looked you could find a whole pile of free digital elements from different designers (to start the blog hop start here ). I downloaded a whole bunch of cute stuff today and made these two pages. I love using paper and stuff but sometimes just playing in photoshop is just so easy and fun!

Go download some free stuff!!

In the Craftroom: Drowning in Papers
I don't know about you but there are papers around here. Piles of papers. From school, bills, church papers, renewal slips, artwork by the kids, handouts, and a whole lot of other ones.
I didn't know what to do with them, but after I couldn't find the paper I was supposed to fill out to register Lucy in preschool for next year (i am registering her in both preschool and kindergarden since we haven't made up our mind which she is doing yet).
This wall has been bothering me for a while...

SO I combined them and these...

And got this.

One clipboard for each of us (Eli doesn't really have papers yet...)
Soon all the Christmas cards on the dry erase board will be put into the scrapbook album - but I haven't gotten there yet....So just image that empty (hahahahaha)
And I've always wanted a poster of the Keep Calm one. So I made one myself and printed it off at costco to fit the 12x12 frame I already had. So if you'd like one you could let me know and I'd email it to you. Cause that will make you comment and cause I like you. :)

Download Day
I made this last week for myself and thought I would share it.
I love having a menu plan. I am better prepared when it is 500pm and Eli is acting like he is going to die if he doesn't eat soon. I added in snacks too since I need to think ahead about planning healthy snacks.

Same deal as last download.
You can download it from flickr or you can download it by going to 4shared and downloading it by clicking on the image below.
.
Enjoy!

In the Craftroom: Christmas Bingo
All over the net lately I've been seeing projects that are made inspired by stores that are expensive. So I thought I'd put my touch on these types of projects. This cute game is from Anthropologie. Amazing store. Not so cheap.
Here is my take on this cute Christmas game.
My version.

Best part is I made it so you can download it and play with your kids and family too!
Just cause I love ya! There are six cards (two on each page) and then the key.
Two ways to download it.
If you have a flickr account just open them and download the largest size.
If you don't then you can try these, Click on them and they should take you to another screen where it says download these.

Download them and print them onto cardstock and cut them out.
Let me know if you download it and how it works for you!!
I'd love to hear if anyone uses it :)
There are a TON of things on Anthropologie. I would love love love to get!
But not in the budget.
So I think I'll be doing a bit more of this knock off thing.
:)
Next up something a little more challenging.....either a shirt or a necklace!
