having friday night parties at Bowness park before dad left for three weeks for a Peds rotation...
practicing our fire building skills....
learning about roasting marshmallows...
learning about smores
eating hot diggity dogs
playing chase and swords at the park....having pillow fights on mom and dad's bed...
practicing our smiling...
playing in the sandbox turned pool
having picnics in the kitchen...
shooting a wedding..... (more on my photo blog)
and just surviving until Regan comes home.
Got a flat tire that I found Saturday night (and no spare on our van) so we are house bound and at the mercy of friends to help us with getting the tire fixed, picking up milk since have none, etc.
It's been interesting and challenging (I hate asking people to help me with so many things!) since Regan started his rotation in Medicine Hat. And we are only down one week.
Good thing there is lots of this around here now...

I wish I could come up and take you to the store to get milk, or better yet, take you to get your tire fixed. But here I sit, still with my pregnant belly and back pain, and shooting nerve pain, and sleepless nights... Can you tell I have hit the point of totally being sick of being pregnant? Hope the next two weeks fly by for you.
Love, love, love all the photos!
Wish I lived closer so I could help you out more. That totally SUCKS about the flat tire - what a pain! I hope you are able to get it fixed soon!
I wish I could come and help too! You are a hero for being a single mom with 3 little ones these days. Take care - I'll be praying that you have the strength you need for every issue. ((( HUGS )))
sounds like you're having fun (and keeping busy) sorry to hear about the tire. i hate when that happens! i think we've had about 4 flat tires since moving to edmonton (thanks to living in a developing community). those smores look so good. eli is so cute and getting so big. it really amazes me how fast they change in such a short period of time.
Thanks for the message about my win on Jen M's blog. I was quite surprised - and I'm going to add to my stash of Hero Arts stamps with the gift certificate :)) I'll show you what I buy!
what a wonderful smile - looks like you had alot of fun before Regan left! Too bad about the flat tire - that's a real pin, I'm sure! Good luck the next few weeks while Regan is gone!
It is hard when your other half is away. I know. When my kids were babies we owned three ESL schools and Marc spent almost every other month either in Korea or China for 2-3 weeks at a time... It was awful. But you will get through! Big hugs!! And you have one super sweet little guy there giving you lots of love and smiles!! Too cute!!
good times! summer is almost over and it is really sad. eli is getting el-chubbo. can't wait to see him again soon!
Oh that baby Eli is just darling! Sounds like you are doing well with all that life is throwing your way. I have no doubt that you will get through this time of increased responsibility and just greatly appreciate having your husband home that much more. Hang in there, you're doing a great job!
Love your life in photos! That is so cool - uou guys have had a busy few weeks, hey!? Good luck while Regan is working so hard! It's tough being home by yourself with the kiddos!
