Alden recently....

1. decided that he needs to hold the remote while he is watching tv. He has never really cared before.... but the past few days, the manly urge has come out in him. :)

2. colored his toes (and a lot of his feet) with blue sharpie last sunday morning while Regan and I were getting ready for church. After I caught him and told him that wasn't the best decision... he said it's okay, just wipe it off. When I explained that it doesn't just "wipe off" he said, "it's okay mom, i can just wear socks ALL DAY long."

3. got his first bike. And man is he excited. Got his helmet. Just need some bolts to hook on the training wheels and he will be motoring along.

Too funny about the remote!! Alden's going to love the independence that riding a bike brings. I vividly remember our kids learning to ride and the freedom that mastering a bike brought. It was such a big milestone!

I dunno Rhonda, I'd say painted toes are just as bad as Roman and Isiah's long hair! (Ro will be getting a trim when Jacklyn is up for grad)

I love the toes, haha. But seriously, when am I allowed to do Alli's! Alden looks like the happiest kid around with that bike, can't wait to see him cruise around on it. Derek will have to come and teach him 2 wheels, he taught himself at the age of 3!

that boy has some grandpa in him. Clayne cannot go to bed without the remote in his hand. Occasionaly i hide it to see him pace and look aound the bedroom. I always have good laugh.

Micah loves to colour his nails too but I only let him do it with washable markers. They are so smart with the covering them with socks.

LOL on the remote too. My time will come I'm sure.
