Every person I meet tries to tell me how to do it.
Even the ones without kids.
Me: "all your friends go on the potty"
Alden: "I don't care mom."
Really I've tried it.

Hee, hee...he won't graduate in diapers so I wouldn't worry about it Rhonda! When you finally get to do it I bet it'll be in a day!

Well at least you have a good sense of humour about this!! It will come. No 5 year old goes to Kindergarten in diapers!! Don't worry. And if it makes you feel better, Isabella has NO interest in potty training either. She turns 3 in a month and a half. Ya. She does not care either. Live and learn!
Think of it this way, it will be a good picture and a great story at his wedding!

She is way adorable and he is all too normal. And adorble too. I have twins. One was so easy, the other, finally decided he would try at 3 and a half. There was no rushing him, though. It took 4 months before he stayed dry until nap time and always just on his terms. Some days so good. Some days, whatever. I feel the frustration, but it will happen some day.

Don't worry about the potty training. DS is still struggling with it and he will be 4 in June. I honestly think it has just become a power struggle. The more I push...the more resistant he becomes.
